Уменьшаем скорость вращения вентилятора на ATI Radeon HD 4870
У многих счастливых обладателей новых видеокарт ATI возникают сложности с контролем скорости вращения вентилятора на видеокартах ATI HD 4850 и ATI HD 4870. При высокой загрузке этих видеокарт их штатный вентилятор очень быстро набирает обороты и буквально впивается в голову своим назойливым шумом. Кардинально решить проблему можно, например, поставив систему жидкостного охлаждения от Asetek. Это полностью устранит шум, но потребует дополнительных затрат. Есть и бесплатное решение, можно уменьшить скорость вращения вентилятора до приемлемого уровня. И как это сделать мы сейчас расскажем.
Чтобы включить ручной контроль над вентиляторами видеокарт ATI HD 4850 и ATI HD 4870 нужно проделать следующее. После создания профиля в Catalyst Control Center (с встроенным Overdrive), автоматически создается xml-файл. Его имя profilename.xml и он расположен по умолчанию в папке C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ATI\ACE. Этот файл можно отредактировать в обычном текстовом редакторе и установить значение "FanSpeedAlgorithm value" в "Manual", после чего можно установить скорость вращения вентилятора значением "Want value" в процентах:

Сохраните файл и загрузите профиль. Он должен загружаться автоматически при рестарте для того чтобы перезаписывать значения по умолчанию.
